Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager of Events and Donor Engagement will lead the planning, execution, and financial performance of all enterprise-wide events for The Fedcap Group—spanning multiple states and countries. This high-impact role is responsible for fundraising and marketing events, thought leadership forums, donor activations, and internal celebrations. The successful candidate will be a strategist, executor, and relationship-builder—driving measurable results in donor engagement, revenue generation, brand elevation, and the conversion of event participants into long-term contributors to Fedcap’s mission.
This leader will work collaboratively with subsidiary leadership, sales, communications, marketing, and other corporate services colleagues to ensure each event delivers strong ROI, drives meaningful donor engagement, and reflects the organization’s mission and global presence.

Demonstrate excellence in stakeholder engagement, event portfolio analysis, budgeting and project management.
Have built and led the development of a unified event strategy that generates measurable outcomes — including growth in new and repeat donors, movement along the donor pipeline toward major giving, and actionable analysis on the ROI of each event.
Designed and oversaw enterprise-wide donor success approach, incorporating stewardship, retention, and engagement strategies across all event types, with a clear focus on transforming attendee interest into sustained philanthropic support
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Event Management, Hospitality, Fundraising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Event Leadership Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership in high-impact event planning and execution, including at least 3 years managing enterprise-wide events.
- Track Record of Execution & Scale: Proven success in producing events with 50 to 1,000+ attendees, with at least one event generating $1M+ in net revenue, and a demonstrated ability to plan and execute 20+ events annually while meeting strategic, financial, and operational goals.
- Donor Conversion & Stewardship Expertise: Measurable experience in driving donor acquisition and retention through events, including conversion of at least 15% of event attendees into recurring or major gift donors and implementation of structured donor stewardship pathways tied to event engagement.
- Data & Systems Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, and Monday.com, with a track record of building real-time dashboards, tracking donor behavior, and supporting segmented engagement strategies through CRM and analytics platforms.
- Financial Management & ROI Analysis: Experience overseeing event budgets totaling $5M+, maintaining 95%+ reconciliation accuracy, and delivering 100% of revenue-generating events at a net financial gain. Ability to analyze ROI across events using data on attendance, donor conversion, and long-term giving trends.
- Logistics & Vendor Oversight: Strong background in managing end-to-end logistics, ensuring full compliance with contracting, accessibility, and procurement standards.
- Innovation & Trend Responsiveness: Understanding of emerging trends in hybrid/virtual events, donor engagement technology, and experiential fundraising, with examples of new platforms or formats evolving within events.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Presentation: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with company executive directors and their fundraising resources, senior leaders, board members, and cross-functional teams. Proven ability to deliver high-impact presentations, lead debriefs and align events with enterprise priorities.

Total rewards include
Compensation Range – depending on experience $120,000 - $150,000 annually
